went to edmonton on saturday to see MASTODON at the starlight. got to hang out with my brother which was cool as i haven’t seen him for awhile. we had the BEST pizza for dinner. like i’m talking blow your face off delicious. it was at a lounge/restaurant (rose bowl or rouge lounge) just 2 blocks from my brothers place that corey had heard had good pizza. so we went in on rumor alone and thank the lord we did. i will now be dreaming of this pizza everyday until i can have it again. we got an XL (16”!) chef’s mistake… which was basically a crapload of random shit that turned out to be super delicious even though it had pineapple on it. (if memory serves me correctly, pepperoni, ham, bacon, black olives, onions, green peppers, pineapple… probably more stuff). it was so big that they had squares cut in the middle and even though the crust was super thick and huge, it was perfectly cooked and crispy throughout. we were all starving and we are all pigs and we couldn’t even finish it. it was intense.
my previous favourite pizza from manies, the athenian with it’s delicious thick and crispy crust, has now been pushed to second place. and the pizza place in morinville is now in number three. why do i have to travel to have such delicious pizza?!
we also had chinese food at 3am and then mcdonalds for lunch. basically i ate my caloric intake for the next week in 24 hours.
