the heat war continues

so the building turned on their “coolers” so now it is about one hundred million times colder in here and it’s not even summer out yet.  it’s like working in a fucking meat locker!  which is fine and dandy for all these menopausal women and overweight men in suits but for me i’m dying!!! i am forced to wear sweaters every day of the year and it’s not fair! why can’t i come to work in a cute top and not have to cover it in a sweater (or two) everyday of the year?!  the hr lady has sent out numerous emails being like if you need the heat adjusted in your office let me know! and i’ve responded everytime with I AM FREEZING MAKE IT WARMER! COVER THE VENTS!!! and she never does anything.  i took matters into my own hands within the first week that i was here by putting packing tape over the vent that blows cold air.  however, fuck face beside me who also shares the same thermostat was STILL TOO HOT.  sweet christ.

anyways.  the maintenance man just came in FINALLY to adjust my heat and i figured he’d close the vents with the cold air but no… he just readjusted the thermostat to make it warmer in here.  and i was like well the problem is that fuck face next door is too hot and i’m too cold… and he’s like oh well it should be the same temperature in both offices.  THAT’S THE POINT YOU MORON.  so he raised the temp to 23 and said if it’s too cold still you can always turn up the thermostat and showed me the little turn dial…. like HELLO i am not an idiot i know how to turn up the thermostat it’s just that fuck face next door complains when i touch it and turn it up even a millimeter of heat! 

AHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.  i am doomed to wearing sweaters 365 days of the year.
